Skate Pharm owner Nic Powley was recently interviewed by Boardsport Source about the highs and lows of opening a new skate store. Skate Pharm are a skate shop in Margate, a seaside town in Kent, England that opened their doors in early 2014. Shop owner Nic Powley spoke with SOURCE when the store first opened, explaining his ideas, which included an onsite cafe for his customers.

It’s been a whirlwind 18 months for Skate Pharm, with a regional win in the Vans Shop Riot series and a victory in Sidewalk’s Dew Store Wars. The shop has proved itself in the best way possible for a skate shop – by having a solid skate team.
