Dan Cates Turns 40

Skate Pharm team rider Dan Cates turns 40 this weekend and we’ve put together this little edit of all his best, worst and most annoying bits!

Dan has been part of Death Skateboards since its inception and his contribution to the UK skate scene is undeniable, always making sure we all remember it should be about having fun! Who can forget his legendary Day in the City parts or fishtanks board Sidewalk cover. During his years as a pro skateboarder Dan’s hit up more countries and spots than the average man can dream of.

Alongside that he was also working for Power Distribution and as a Golf course green keeper and completing an art degree. He relocated to Margate last year for a better life by the sea but he’s showing no signs of slowing down, still skating, still filming and still just as annoying as ever!
