Habitat Skateboards was founded by Joe Castrucci in 2000 as a sister brand to Alien Workshop.
Habitat Skateboards promotes an Earthy vibe, and has introduced several Eco-friendly products over the years including bamboo, hemp & cork ply decks, plus the use of water based glue, ink & clear coats, and a line of organic apparel. In 2009, Habitat also announced the addition of a footwear line which hit stores in early 2010.
