Santa Cruz – Risk it – Jason Jessee – Skate Pharm Dump

I chose Santa Cruz – Risk it because it’s hard to define what makes a skateboarder legendary – style, epic video sections, comp wins, rad graphics, personality. One thing is for sure that Jason Jessee has the lot, he blew up in the late 80’s turning pro for Santa Cruz and having some of the most iconic graphics of the time. Possibly also some of the most tattooed graphics of all time?

He was one of the first skaters I remember having loads of tats, being into bikes etc, he just just seemed like the most bad ass dude about! With the rise of street skating and a nasty injury he disappeared off the radar for a while only to become a legend in the bike building and car customising game too.

He’s now back skating again with the same power and style that earned him so many fans in the first place. Here’s one of the many sections that made this guy the legendary nutcase he is today.
