Skate Pharm Ramsgate Jam

Over May bank holiday, Skate Pharm team and friends hosted a bowl jam at the newly constructed Ramsgate Skatepark for the Skate Pharm Ramsgate Jam. Watch Skate Pharm team riders Carl Wilson, Kris Vile and Dan Cates tear the bowl a new one in the sunshine alongside Milk Skateboards team rider Jordan Thackeray and locals including Chester Pegg and Tim Prescott. As usual MC Marc Churchell kept everyone hyped with a healthy mix of encouragement and abuse!  Egged on by Marc and Cates, Tim eventually walked away with a free Milk Skateboards deck for winning his battle with the backflip.  Kids got given free stuff, some stunts got done, no one died, all in all we’ll mark it down as a big success.

Should you want to come down and skate the bowl it’s located right next to Ramsgate train station, it’s never really that busy and whilst it is relatively small it is perfectly well formed! While you’re in the area be sure to hit up Broadstairs park too and don’t forget to come and pay a visit to the best skate shop around.
