New Balance was founded in the Boston area of the United States in 1906. The company are well renowned for producing some of the best running trainers in the world, in contrast to their competition they manufacture in the US and the UK. The brand really took off in the 70’s when a new owner embraced the running boom that hit at that time.
In 2013 New Balance launched their skate range titled ‘New Balance Numeric’ with Scotland born John Rattray taking up the reigns as team manger. The current team consists of PJ Ladd, Arto Saari, Levi Brown, Tom Karengelov, Jordan Taylor, Tyler Surrey and London’s Tom Knox.
New Balance Numeric currently manufacture some basic vulc sole models including the Quincy 254 and the Brighton 344 as well as the more high end cupsole models 479 Stratford and 636 Logan. Their range also includes apparel such as hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts and caps.
