Unofficial Margate

Unofficial Margate was set up up for 3 main reasons:

1) I love Margate
2) I love stupid t-shirts
3) Weirdly no one was making good Margate t-shirts.

On my travels I always try and pick up a tacky tourist shirt, I’ve had some beauties in my time but it’s always annoyed me they’re generally cheap and nasty and they’re often wrecked before my suntan’s even faded.

I wanted to make nice ‘souvenir’ t-shirts that would be worn by visitors and locals alike. For this reason I knew they needed to be of decent quality and with some decent designs (and no Comic Sans) All our shirts are screen printed for quality and not that nasty heat transfer stuff. We also only use decent heavyweight shirts that won’t be wrecked after one wash.
