Chocolate Skateboards
Chocolate Skateboards is a legendary skateboard brand founded in April 1994 in Torrance, California, as a sister company to Girl Skateboards within the Girl Distribution family. The idea was to create a new team and identity rather than expand Girl’s already strong roster, giving space to riders like Chico Brenes and others who would shape the brand’s unique style. Known for its creative graphics—especially the iconic “Chunk” logo—and its roster of influential skaters such as Kenny Anderson, Vincent Alvarez, and Marc Johnson, Chocolate has become celebrated for blending innovative street skating with strong artistic and cultural expression. Over the decades the brand has released classic skate videos, supported a vibrant team, and maintained a deep influence on core skateboarding culture worldwide.
