Footprint Insoles
Founded in 2011 by Jason Guadalajara, Footprint Insoles (FP) revolutionised skateboard footwear technology by developing specialist insoles designed to absorb the punishing impacts of modern skateboarding. Frustrated by conventional cushioning, Guadalajara travelled to China to research materials and manufacturing techniques, eventually developing the innovative Kingfoam technology that became the foundation of the brand. Footprint gained widespread recognition through its association with professional skateboarders including Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, whose enormous stair sets and drops demonstrated the importance of effective impact protection. The brand's signature Kingfoam and Gamechangers insoles combine advanced shock absorption with improved foot support, while its custom-moulding technology allows certain models to adapt to the individual wearer's foot. Footprint has since expanded into skate footwear and protective equipment, with its technology finding applications beyond skateboarding, including professional athletics and acrobatics. Today, FP remains a leading name in impact-absorbing skateboard insoles.
