Hartsdown Hardware

Hartsdown Hardware is an independent skateboard hardware brand from Margate, Kent, with its roots firmly planted in the town's skateboarding history. Named after Hartsdown Park, one of Britain's oldest surviving skateboarding spots, the brand celebrates a local scene stretching back to the late 1970s. Hartsdown's original tarmac banks appeared in 1977, followed by concrete structures in 1978, establishing the area as an important meeting place for generations of Thanet skateboarders. Drawing inspiration from old-school skateboarding, 1990s graphics, punk culture and Margate's distinctive seaside character, Hartsdown Hardware combines practical skateboard essentials with bold, irreverent artwork. Its product range includes skateboard decks, mounting bolts, skate tools, wax, T-shirts, beanies and accessories. Unashamedly independent and proudly rooted in its hometown, Hartsdown Hardware represents the DIY attitude, local heritage and enduring sense of community that have always been central to skateboarding.
