Sabbath Wheels
Founded in Birmingham in 2022 by skateboard photographer Rob Whiston, Sabbath Wheels is an independent British skateboard wheel company combining premium urethane technology with a distinctive obsession for folklore, occult imagery and heavy metal. Named partly in tribute to Birmingham's legendary Black Sabbath, the brand draws further inspiration from Francisco Goya's painting Witches' Sabbath. After 18 months of development, Whiston launched Sabbath's signature All Terrain Urethane (ATU) formula, designed to deliver the speed, grip and durability of premium American skateboard wheels at a competitive price. The range has since expanded to include the ultra-hard Double Hard Bastard (DHB) formula and skateboard bearings. Sabbath's impressive team includes Craig 'Questions' Scott, Dean Greensmith, Kris Vile and Freya Brook. Beyond its products, Sabbath has become known for its chaotic Black Mass skateboarding events and the 2024 video The Two Headed Dog, establishing itself as one of the most distinctive independent brands in UK skateboarding.
