Slappy Trucks is a modern skateboard truck company started in the early 2020s by longtime skate industry veteran Mike Sinclair, who previously worked as a team manager for brands like Nike SB and Tum Yeto. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Sinclair spent over two years tinkering with truck geometry, bushings, kingpins and profiles to develop a design that prioritises smooth turning and enhanced grind clearance—aiming to reduce hang-ups without sacrificing feel.
