Skateboard Cafe
Skateboard Café started as a Bristol scene video filmed and edited by Rich Smith in 2008, and gradually grew from crew edits into tees and boards—before hitting a proper “company” milestone around 2012, when they put out a small drop of decks/clothing alongside a promo that introduced their first official rider - Shaun Currie. Since then it’s stayed very filmer-led and design-driven: the brand’s look pulls from ’50s diner/café styling and jazz, with much of the visual direction handled in-house and via a tight circle of artists and friends. Owned Rich Smith and Andy Makepeace two cornerstones of the Bristol skate scene for years. More recently they’ve kept building their reputation through full-length and major projects, while staying rooted in that Bristol/London skate scene and a very UK-specific spot-and-crew energy.
